Why Your Accountant Hates You

Unless prompted, few business owners willingly gush about their accountants. I get it, accountants aren’t always the most affectionate bunch; sometimes referred to as boring or dry. Many consider them a necessary evil, number crunchers or even bean counters. Some...

It’s always an exciting time when you’re ready to take the next step in life and buy a home. But finding that perfect home can be a challenge, especially if you’re not familiar with the real estate industry. That’s where Danielle comes in. With over 7 years of experience under her belt, she brings her expertise and her passion for creating life-long relationships flawlessly into her business. Here she shares more about her journey in Chicago real estate and the importance of her relationships with her clients.

Can you tell us a little about your business and what services you provide?

When you are making the biggest financial decision in your life, it’s important to have resources you can rely on and a team of experts at your fingertips. As a Realtor®, I’m there to guide you through the process of finding your perfect home. I want my clients to picture themselves creating a life in their new home, so they get to love living in it and building memories.

The last thing I want is for one of my clients to regret their decision. I often work with many first time home buyers to alleviate the pressure and guide them into making the best decision for themselves. It’s my love of meeting new people and creating new experiences that has kept me in this industry for over 7 years.

Revenue is important for every business, so as a Realtor®, how does your sales process align with your business approach?

My business philosophy is that yes, I work in sales, but I’m the worst sales person because I will never force you into a home you don’t love. I refuse to look at anyone like a paycheck; you’re a person I’m creating a relationship with. If you decide you want to put things on hold, you’re not wasting my time. You’re putting yourself first (which is the most important), so just call me when you’re ready! It’s the same in my business, I let my values and intuition guide my decision making and direction.

How do you find leads for your business?

I learned the hard way during Covid that paying for leads is a waste of time; they’ll ghost you because there’s no loyalty. I’ve very intentionally built my business to be almost entirely referral based! I work very closely with clients and build an intimate relationship understanding how they live, what their dreams are and having conversations around finances. I always stay in touch with my clients, sending birthday cards, and I also do a holiday client appreciation party every year. Since I am so focused on building those relationships, when I find a client, I have a client for life.

Plus, our relationship doesn’t end after the sale. Just showing those tokens of appreciation for them working with me and sending referrals my way is one of the most important things I can do for myself and my business.

In what ways has Fritz Financial Solutions helped you change your business for the better?

It is important to me that my investments align with my values, but before Fritz Financial Solutions it was more intuition based than data driven. Daliah and the Fritz Financial Solutions team knew how to support me in managing my finances. They came in and helped me become more organized and disciplined in how I looked at results and spending.

Plus they are so generous with their knowledge. I learned just how much Dailah is willing to support me when my CPA wasn’t used to working with Realtors®, and Daliah went above and beyond to help him understand the nuances of the industry.

I’m truly excited to grow with Daliah because she helps me to flesh out the reasoning behind the financial decisions I’ll be making. I may not fully understand the whole financial side of things, but when I’m around these experts, I’m confident in my decisions, strategies and growth.
